Narrow fit, small for size 40

Sandals look good, but footbed is quite narrow and small for size 40. Therefore straps too tight across foot. Top strap is adjustable (buckle). Bottom strap is fixed. I can be a 40 in some shoes and have to go to 42 in others. I would have bought 42 if available at the time. Had to return..
